BALTIMORE, MD - A nickel has turned out to be something more than small change.
The nickel was recovered from a fatal car crash, and then kept in a Virginia closet for 41 years.
At first, the owner thought the 1913 liberty head nickel was a fake, but it turned out to be the real thing.
It's on display at a coin show in Baltimore this weekend.
It will be auctioned off in Chicago next month, and is expected to fetch around $2.5 million.
