SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
The fire that damaged a home on 10th and Jones Streets in Sioux City Wednesday afternoon is still under investigation.
Fire officials believe it started in the basement.
No one was home at the time, but three dogs and cat were inside. Only one dog survived.
Officials are still trying to figure out what started the fire.
There has been a fund set up at all Sioux City Security National Bank branches for Shandell Inlay, the single mother with six children who lived in the house.
The fire caused too much damage, so the family won't be able to return for another six months to a year.
