Creighton celebrates after learning it earned a No. 7 seed in the Big Dance.
Both South Dakota State and Creighton earned automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament by winning their conference title games.
SDSU is back for a second year in a row will face 4th seeded Michigan on Thursday.
Creighton, also back again, earning a 7 seed and will play 10th seeded Cincinnati on Friday.
"It's a good matchup for us. It should be fun to go out there to Philadelphia. We probably could have a had a closer spot, but we're in the tournament, we're playing against Cincinnati, so it's a good draw for us," Doug McDermott said.
"I'm ready to go to Philadelphia," senior Grant Gibbs added. "I thought it was a decent draw. Obviously, Cincinnati is a tough team, physical team, but overall I think we're pretty excited about it."
The game times have yet to be announced.
