Geese begin to flock to McCook Lake

MCCOOK LAKE, S.D. (KTIV) - While it might not be feeling too much like it's spring, the geese at McCook lake were out swimming Wednesday like it was summer already.

Hundreds of geese soaked up the early morning rays, ignoring the fact the rest of us were quite cold with temperatures below freezing.

The birds beginning to migrate north is just one more sign the warm days of spring are on the way.
