The Pterosaur was a winged lizard that had a wingspan of about 27 feet.
Brazilian researchers have unveiled the fossilized remains of a giant flying prehistoric reptile. The National Museum of Brazil houses the exhibit that includes a life-sized replica of the Pterosaur.
Scientists say the Pterosaur was a winged lizard that lived from about 220 to 65 million years ago and had a wingspan of about 27 feet. They also walked on the ground and are believed to be one of the first vertebrates to develop powered flight.
