Many came to the table for a brainstorming session on improving Moville's community.
MOVILLE, Iowa (KTIV) -
The town of Moville, Iowa is looking at ways it can improve.
It's been ten years since this community of 1,600 last gathered to focus on ways to grow and improve the quality of life for its residents.
Dozens came to the table Thursday night for a brainstorming session organized by the Moville Economic Development Board.
Some areas of interest, more housing for seniors, neighborhood improvements, and more health and fitness options.
"It's their community and there's going to be some things come out that we haven't thought about and so by gathering some people together to do that, then there's some ideas that may come out and we wish to address," said Stee Maxwell, Moville Community Development Area Incorporated president.
Some topics discussed will go before the city council and school board, others may take years to develop.
