Timeline for Woodbury County Licensing Process

November 1, 2012 (extended to November 5, 2012)

Applications are due by 2:00 p.m. in the Commission office at 717 E. Court, Des Moines,

IA. Once applications are due, the applications cannot be amended and the applicants

cannot contact the Commission members. This does not prevent the Commission

members from asking questions that may result in the applications being supplemented

for clarification.

November 15, 2012 (Commission Meeting)

Submission and presentation of financing. Firm financial commitments are expected at

this date.

January 10, 2013 (Commission Meeting)

Applicant presentations. Applicants will be allowed 45 minutes each. The Commission

will not ask questions at this time.

March 6, 2013 (Commission Meeting- evening before)

The DCI will present their suitability reports in executive session.

March 26, 2013 (Special Meeting in Sioux City- morning)

The Commission members will visit the sites. The applicants will be allowed 45 minutes

with the Commission members to present at their sites.

March 26, 2013 (late morning or early afternoon- time will be set once we know the

number of applicants)

Public hearing intended for individuals not associated with the application process. The

public hearing will be followed by a Question and Answer session from the Commission
