South Bend Police tell FOX 28 the shooting victim of a shooting Thursday night near the corner of South Falcon and Ford Streets, is now in good condition at a local hospital.

The victim was shot in the thigh.

Police are still investigating.

Original Story:

A man is in the hospital after being shot on South Bend's west side.

It happened at 9:15pm Thursday near the corner of South Falcon and Ford Streets, which is just two blocks south of Western Avenue.

Dispatchers tell FOX28 a man was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital. He is listed in good condition.  Officials say the injury was "a through and through to the thigh."

We're also told police have not arrested anyone at this time and there are no suspects in the shooting.
