SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

A U-Haul truck damaged a section of Sioux City's skywalk late Friday afternoon.

The top of the truck's cargo area collided with the skywalk at the entrance to the Sioux City Hotel which is located near the corner of 4th and Jackson.

Officials say there is no structural damage to the support beams of the skywalk, but there is moderate damage to the bottom section.

The skywalk still remains open at this time.

The truck's driver said he didn't realize how low the clearance was.
