As warmer weather comes into Siouxland, some may begin to think about summer camp.
Camp High Hopes held its first open house of the season on Saturday.
Families were invited to see what the camp offers to children, teens and adults with disabilities.
They were able to tour the indoor and outdoor facilities, as well as visit with the staff and ask questions about the camp.
Different activities were also available for the families to try, such as archery, crafts and a bounce house.
The staff hopes the open house eases parents' minds.
"It's a nice opportunity to go to an open house at a camp like we have today at Camp High Hopes, so they can get a chance to actually see it before they sign up their son or daughter," explained Executive Director, Ali Langseth.
The open house also got the potential campers excited for the summer season to come.
"I enjoy Camp High Hopes. We came out here and had some fun and shoot arrows," said Robin Hair.
The next open house will be from 3:0 to 7:00 on April 24th.
