A distracted driver crashes through a Northwest Iowa auto parts store.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, 55-year old Verna Nicks was pulling into a parking space in front of the store at 316 Main Street, when she accidentally pushed the accelerator instead of the brake.
They say she drove through the glass storefront and completely through the Car Quest store
Authorities say the store was significantly damaged.
Nicks and her passenger, Mark Babcock were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A sign at the store says they hope to be back open Monday.
