After sneaking onto the dirt racetrack at Park Jefferson on Sunday, authorities say two of the three males were thrown from the car when it went out of control on the soft dirt surface and rolled.

They were taken to Mercy Medical Center with injuries, one by helicopter, the other two by ambulance.

South Dakota Highway Patrol, Captain Kevin Joffer, says the driver was 19-year-old, Michael Haire, from Hinton, Iowa.

He said passengers 19-year-old Lucas Richardson and Daniel Harrison were also in the vehicle.

The owner of the racetrack has indicated that he will not press charges for trespassing.
