Muskies fall to Force 4-3

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City scored three first period goals, but it wasn't enough as Fargo rallied to top the Musketeers 4-3 Saturday night.

With the loss Sioux City is now in seventh place, and holds a two point advantage over last place Tri-City heading into next weekend's final games of the season.

Trevor Olson scored 33 seconds into the game to give Sioux City the 1-0 lead.

Neal Pionk added another three minutes later off an assist from Jake Guentzel, who pushes his scoring streak to 19 games.

Two minutes later, Alex Iafallo scored for Fargo to make it a 2-1 game.

The Muskies responded with a goal from Jared Thomas, but the Force added a goal in the second and scored two more in the third to seal the victory.

Sioux City wraps up the season next weekend with games against Fargo.
