Road work begins Monday on Highway 14 between Grundy and Butler Counties
GRUNDY COUNTY (KWWL) -
If you drive on Highway 14 between Grundy County Road D-19 and Highway 57 near Parkersburg you may notice slower traffic than usual Monday.
Road crews will be in the area beginning road construction, and lane restrictions will go into effect. In this initial phase, traffic will be reduced to single lane pattern in alternating directions during daylight hours.
Crews will help direct traffic through the area until May. By May, the road will be closed and detours will be in place while the project enters its second phase of construction. The Iowa DOT urges drivers to be cautious when driving through the area.
