Annette Funicello dies at 70


Mouseketeer and beach party movie icon, Annette Funicello, has died from complications of multiple sclerosis. Funicello was diagnosed with MS in 1992. The Walt Disney Company confirms she died in a Bakersfield, Calf. hospital 

Disney released a statement saying,"She will forever hold a place in our hearts as one of Walt Disney's brightest stars, delighting an entire generation of baby boomers with her jubilant personality and endless talent."

Funicello was 70.
