New developments in the case of a former Siouxland man found murdered in Arizona 17-months ago.
Two of the men charged in the disappearance, and murder, of Jordan Peterson, have pleaded guilty to the charges they faced.
The Arizona Daily Star newspaper reports 19-year-old Reed Marrone pleaded guilty to first-degree murder... admitting to the judge that the crime was premeditated and intentional. The newspaper also says Marrone's defense attorney told the judge that Marrone was addicted to Percocet at the time of the murder. He faces up to life in prison.
Another suspect, Tyler Brown, pleaded guilty to "attempted abandonment or concealment of a dead body", according to the newspaper. He'll face up to two-years in prison. Both men are set to be sentenced June 17th.
In November of 2011, the 21-year-old Peterson's abandoned pickup truck was found in a Tucson suburb. A month later, police found human remains believed to be Peterson's.
