Sioux City Parks & Rec plans for a summer full of activities
There's a little something for everyone in the new summer schedule put together by Sioux City's Parks and Recreation Department.
You can pick up a copy of the 2013 Fun & Action Guide at city offices around town. Inside, you'll find information about classes and events being held for both kids and adults.
According to Recreation Supervisor Eric Griffith, his department hires about 120 part time employees for the summer. If you're interested in applying or being trained as a lifeguard to work in one of the city's pools contact the Parks and Rec department at (712) 279-6126 or (712) 279-6250.
Persons with disabilities who need assistance with issues relating to the content of this station's public inspection file should contact Administrative Assistant Kathy Clayton at (712) 239-4100 x209. Questions or concerns relating to the accessibility of the FCC's online public file system should be directed to the FCC at 888-225-5322, at 888-835-5322 (TTY) or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
