Two organizations have come together to contribute $10,000 to the construction of a new, accessible archery shelter at "Camp High Hopes."
$7,500 came from the Ronald McDonald of Siouxland Charities. The Home Builders Association of Greater Siouxland contributed $3,000, plus 100% volunteer labor towards the project. Ali Langseth, Camp High Hopes Executive Director says, "Archery is one of the high quality programs included at the camp, and it is a favorite for our campers, and is one of the safest, no matter what their age or ability."
Work will start in June.
Camp High Hopes offers therapeutic recreation programs and respites designed for youth and adults with diagnosed disabilities, and chronic illnesses.
