Larsen, who was also named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week, was named the MVP in the men's collegiate division at this past weekend's Sioux City Relays after he won the 800-meters and anchored the Mustangs to triumphs in the sprint medley, 1600-meter, and 3200-meter relays.
Larsen finished first in the 800-meters with a time of 1:52.02 to top a field of 40 runners. His time was the fourth fastest in the NAIA so far this season. Larsen's time of 52.53 seconds is the fastest in the nation this year.
Larsen is slated to compete at this week's Kansas Relays, where he will be one of eight
