FBI investigation of Sioux Center business stops

A six-month investigation of a Northwest Iowa company has stopped without any charges.

The investigation of Sioux Automation in Sioux Center was focused on the company's termination of its former employee stock ownership plan.

The company makes replacement parts for farm equipment.

Mark Weinhardt, lead attorney for Sioux Automation, was notified by the U.S. Attorney's office that the investigation was suspended and no charges were filed.

CEO Ron Hulshof released a statement saying, "…our focus is now where it has been for 50+ years, and should always be - on providing excellent products and services to our clients and being a great place to work."
