Moment of silence honors blast victims

Posted:

The city of Boston paused Monday to remember the victims of last week's marathon bombing.

A moment of silence at the exact time the bombs went off last Monday honored the victims.

Earlier hundreds gathered to say goodbye to 29-year-old Krystal Campbell.

Meanwhile, authorities formally charged Dzhokhar Tsarnaev with using a weapon of mass destruction in the attack that took four lives and injured dozens more.

The investigation into the bombings and two violent gun battles with police continues.

Investigators are working to determine if the pair had any outside help in planning and preparing for the attacks.
