A no show Monday night at the city council meeting in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Owners of the Budget Host Inn were suppose to give council members their plan of action for cleaning up their business.
However, there's no plan and no owners came to the meeting. Police have received 97 calls to the motel already this year, 186 last year.
It's costing time and money for the city, but also raises safety concerns. The city administrator says there's frustration among the board.
"Obviously we have a concern, and it needs to be addressed and it needs to be addressed right now and I think that we need to see that they're implementing a program. And tonight's was certainly a dismal way to start that out," said Lance Hedquist, South Sioux City City Administrator.
The city will get updates from police weekly.
Council will take action at a follow up meeting on May 13th.
