Athletes shine on third day of Drake Relays

On third day of the Drake Relays several of Iowa's and Siouxland's best were still competing on the Blue Oval in Des Moines, Iowa.

In the women's 100 meter dash, Iowa freshman Lake Kwaza finished second with a time of 11.15 seconds.

Former Heelan standout Brendan Dougherty continued to lead the way for Notre Dame, helping the Irish to a third place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:05.87.

South Dakota's Alexa Duling takes home four in the women's 400 hurdles crossing the finish line in 58.38 seconds.

On the girls side, Spencer's Taylor Glover takes fifth in the girls 400 hurdles with a time of 64.36 seconds, while Western Christian's Kim Kroeze finished seventh.

Spirit Lake Park's Will Norris finished 8th in the 1600 meter run clocking in 4:23.04.
