The Vikings had six hits in the inning, including a three-run triple by leadoff batter Jake Petersen on his second at-bat of the inning.
Morningside scored both of its runs in the second inning when Josh Gross singled and scored on a groundout by Trevor Miller and when Cole Halgerson reached base on an error and came home on a RBI single by Tanner McWilliams.
The Mustangs finished the game with seven hits, including two each from Gross and Halgerson.
Augustana starting pitcher Tyson Gau allowed two runs on five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts over the first four innings to get the win.
The Vikings Michael Wellman threw a no-hitter in the second game. He walked two and struck out 11.
Despite not having a hit, the Mustangs took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning when A.J. Staiert led off the game with a walk, went to second on a sacrifice by Britt Anderson, stole third, and scored on a throwing error by the catcher.
Augustana answered with three runs in the bottom of the first inning and led the rest of the way.
