Guitarists gather for Jimi to break a Guinness World Record
Guitarists from Poland and countries across Europe played one of Jimi's biggest hits.
The legacy of Jimi Hendrix lives on in strange ways.
More than 5,000 guitarists gathered in a square in Wroclaw, Poland Thursday to play Hendrix's rendition of "Hey Joe." Some 5,734 amateur and professionals from Poland and countries across Europe played one of Jimi's biggest hits. They wanted to break a Guinness World Record but came up short. Last year, more than 7,000 set the record in the same square.
