Be a tourist in your own town

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Sioux City residents are encouraged to be a tourist in your own town and see the sights that are here locally.

The promotion is part of National Tourism Week that runs May 4th through the 12th.

City residents will receive passports with their utility bills and copies are available at any participating attraction listed below.

The passports are free and make sure to get your passport stamped at each destination.

If you have ten of the 16 destinations stamped between May 3rd and the 19th, turn it in at the 10th location and you will be eligible for prize drawings.

This year, take photos of your favorite Sioux City locations, and post them on Visit Sioux City's Facebook page via Twitter.

Just use the hash tag #VisitSiouxCity.
