One man in Dubuque Friday embarked upon a journey to run until he dropped, but it was all for a good cause.
Josh Miller started the run Friday morning to raise money for Hillcrest Family Services.
"We're raising the money for a membership at the Four Mounds ropes course," he said during a brief break, "so [the kids at Hillcrest] can get out and experience that, be outside, move their body, team-building. It's just a great cause."
Miller's goal was to run until he dropped, pausing only to take a five-minute break every hour. During one of those breaks, he stopped to visit with the kids from Hillcrest in Dubuque's Flora Park.
Miller hopes to raise $20,000 for Hillcrest to buy a lifetime pass to Four Mounds ropes course in Dubuque.
