U.S. Marshal explains how police tracked down Dean

The U.S. Marshals office arrested Jamal Dean around one Saturday morning in Texas.

They believe he was still in Sioux City as late as Thursday night.

The U.S. Marshals say good old fashioned police work led to Dean's arrest.

"It's kind of like putting a puzzle together.  There's a lot of parts to it and a lot of pieces and each individual piece doesn't always make sense but when you put them together it kind of starts to paint a picture, and you realize what's going on.  We were able to put together information yesterday's afternoon," said U.S. Marshal Mike Fuller.

Authorities say Dean will be charged with attempted murder.
