LINCOLN, Neb. (KTIV) -

Ho-Chunk President Lance Morgan received the University of Nebraska Builder Award Sunday.

The award was presented by former U.S. Senator Ben Nelson, during UNL's graduation ceremony.

It's the highest non-academic award granted by the University.  Morgan, a UNL grad, was the only person selected this year.

He launched Ho-Chunk, Incorporated in 1994 as the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.

Under his leadership, the company has grown from one employee to over 1,000, with operations in 16 states and 8 foreign countries and revenues totaling $260-million last year.
