Morningside College won the 2012-13 GPAC All-Sports Trophy for the second year in a row.

Morningside College won the 2012-13 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Sports Trophy to win the award for the second year in a row.
Morningside won this year's all-sports trophy with a total of 166 points for an 18-point margin over runner-up Doane College.
It was a clean sweep for the Mustangs, who led all schools with 91 points in the men's sports and 75 points in the women's sports.
Morningside won regular season GPAC championships this past year in football, women's basketball, and wrestling and was the league runner-up in men's cross country, men's golf, men's indoor track & field, softball, and women's tennis.
The Mustangs claimed the all-sports trophy for the fourth time in the last seven years. Morningside also captured the GPAC All-Sports Trophy in 2006-07 and 2007-08 and was the runner-up in 2008-09.
Northwestern was third, Dordt was eighth and Briar Cliff was tenth out of the eleven GPAC schools.
