UPDATED: Council approves more new Waterloo housing

The Waterloo City Council agreed to sell a property on Lafayette Street for $1 Monday night.

This is in addition to other brand new homes recently constructed in the area of 7th and Lafayette Streets.  Those homes are under the umbrella of the Neighborhood Stabilization Project.  Both projects are helping spur development in Waterloo.

Three brand new homes are currently being built at 7th and Lafayette.

The next phase of building from developer John Rooff will include town homes across the street.
