Two students hurt in a school bus crash in Norfolk, NE remain hospitalized in Omaha

Two students hurt in a school bus crash near Norfolk, Nebraska remain hospitalized in Omaha with serious head injuries.

11 other children suffered less serious injuries when the Battle Creek school bus collided with a semitrailer at a fog-shrouded intersection Monday morning.

One of the hospitalized students is identified as 11-year-old Bailey Hurlburt, she is listed in serious condition at Children's Hospital and Medical Center.

The other student's mother, Deb Livingston said Tuesday morning that her 14-year-old daughter, Courtney, remains unconscious with a serious concussion at Creighton University Hospital.

Livingston says Courtney is continuing to improve and the family is waiting for her to wake up.
