Shooting suspect's brother has Wednesday court date

Sioux City shooting suspect Jamal Dean's brother will be in court, Wednesday, following several armed "rip-offs" of drug dealers.

Just five days before the shooting, police say the Dean brothers beat and robbed a man inside a home in the Leeds neighborhood on the city's north side.  At one point, police say Jamal Dean split the victim's head open by hitting him with the stock of a 22-caliber rifle. When the victim woke up, the Dean brothers were gone... and so were the victim's electronics, wallet and cars.

Levon Dean is charged with robbery, burglary and theft.
