Woodbury County Sheriff: Jamal Dean waived extradition back to Iowa in Texas
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -
Woodbury County Sheriff's Office deputy, Major Todd Wieck, says at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office in Kingsville, Texas told the Woodbury County Sheriff's Office that Jamal Lee Dean waived extradition back to Woodbury County, Iowa.
He says keeping with extradition laws, Woodbury County has ten days to take custody and control of Jamal Lee Dean.
Wieck says they are examining all potential transportation options in returning Dean from Texas.
