A woman could face more time behind bars after helping a man escape from jail

A woman already in jail for helping a South Sioux City, Nebraska man escape from jail, could face more time behind bars.

28-year-old Melanie Hollingsworth pled guilty to "accessory to a felony" last month and was sentenced to nearly six months in prison.

She told police she helped her boyfriend, 30-year-old Travis Thorngren escaped from a Sioux Falls jail.

When the two were found in South Sioux City, authorities say she gave them a false name.

As part of a plea agreement, Hollingsworth has pled guilty to "Criminal Impersonation."

She'll be sentenced next month.
