Homeless sex offender arrested near Stanton, Co. park

STANTON, Neb. (KTIV) -

A complaint of a suspicious man watching children at a Northeast Nebraska park, leads to the arrest of a registered sex offender.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Department says they took 44-year-old Johnnie Janzen into custody on felony drug charges.

They also say he was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs.  Janzen, who lists himself as a transient, was found in possession of methamphetamine.

He was spotted Friday afternoon at the Woodland Park playground.
