Bandits roll, Jensen sets franchise mark in 56-6 win

Scott Jensen threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, becoming the franchise's all-time passing touchdown leader with 149, as Sioux City improved to 6-2 with a 56-6 win over Mid-Missouri Saturday night at the Tyson Events Center.

Jensen entered the game tied with Jarrod DeGeorgia, the team's offensive coordinator, with 147 touchdown passes before connecting with Damon Mothershead for a seven yard score to put Sioux City up 13-6 in the first.

The veteran added another TD in the second, hooking up with Mothershead again, this time from 35 yards out.

Mothershead, who missed three games due to injury before returning to action last week against Kansas City, hauled in six passes for 92 yards.

On the ground, the Bandits were led by John Bentley who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown.  Sean Treasure ran for 63 yards and two scores.

After allowing the Outlaws to score on their first possession of the game, Sioux City dominated, leading in the game in every statistical category.

Sioux City out gained Mid-Missouri 335-107, racking up 21 first downs compared to just six for the Outlaws.  The Bandits also held Mid-Missouri to just 10 rushing yards and 97 passing yards.

Sioux City returns home next Saturday to battle the Lincoln Haymakers, who they defeated 42-20 in week three.
