Scrapbooking group raised money for cancer center

From stickers to glue and paper to scissors, a Siouxland group pasted up money for a good cause.

The Scrappin' Divas presented the June E. Nylen Cancer Center with a check for over $13,000.

Nearly 100 ladies gathered for a 12 hour "Scrappin' Against All Cancer" event back in March.

Women at the event got to scrapbook while socializing, shopping, and bidding in a silent auction.

This is the first year for the group to partner with the cancer center.

"We have a passion to find a cure for cancer. As our shirts say, the back of our shirts say, you know, 'say no to cancer, fight the fight to find a cure'," said Jamee Carlson, Scrappin' Divas founder.

The money will be used to pay for patient expenses and screenings.
