DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -

The Webster County Sheriff's office says a man in a pickup abducted a 15-year-old and a 12-year-old girl around 3:40 p.m. Monday.

They were taken to a hog farm near Dayton, about half-way between Boone and Fort Dodge.

The 12-year-old got away and found a neighbor to call authorities.

Officials say that information led them back to 42-year-old Michael Klunder.

They think he is the one who took the girls.

Authorities later found Klunder dead of apparent suicide at his home.

15-year-old Kathlynn Shepard is still missing.

She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and vikings hat.
