Public works personnel moved a group of people from an area of Janesville on Wednesday morning.

Crews evacuated six adults, two children and two pets from the Riverview Trailer Court off West 3rd Street around 8 a.m. Wednesday due to flooding concerns.

Evacuation of the trailer court may be needed when the Cedar River reaches 15 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Janesville public works director Becky Wrage says the river has hit its high point and is going back down, but isn't sure when the people will be able to go back home.
