An Albert City, Iowa, man has died after authorities say he was pinned underneath a tractor.

The Buena Vista County Sheriff's department says it happened Tuesday night around 7:45pm on 510th Street near Albert City.

They say 78-year-old Richard Fondroy, from Albert City, had the bucket of his trailer partially loaded with gravel. Authorities say he turned sharply into a driveway, the load shifted causing the tractor to tip onto its top.

Fondroy died at the scene.
