The boating season got off to a late start this year because of cooler weather.
If you're up in the Iowa Lakes Region, you've probably already seen the boaters out on the water. They could be water-skiing, but many are just relaxing in that elusive sun.
It's a big draw for Arnolds Park Amusement Park as well, and those at the park say they're ready to make up for lost time, now that the temperature's getting a little bit warmer.
"Everyone's just itching to get out on the lake. And you know, of course, with our late season, we're a little bit behind schedule. We're rushing to get everything ready for folks to come to our park," said Di Lorenzen, director of marketing and communications for Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
Arnolds Park Amusement Park is open seven days a week now through Sept. 8.
