A centenarian celebrates her birthday by taking a flying leap

A centenarian celebrated her 102nd birthday in Idaho by taking a flying leap.

Dorothy Custer made a tandem base jump off the Perrine Bridge, soaring above the Snake River as the parachute opened.

And topping it off, a picture perfect landing.

It's something many of us would be afraid to do, but for Dorothy, no problem except one.

When she's not thrill-seeking, Dorothy says she tries to sew as much as she can.

By the way, Dorothy is no stranger to the occasional adrenaline rush.

Last year, for her birthday, she zip-lined over the Snake River Canyon.
