Jacqui Kalin will look to continue her memorable basketball career after signing with a professional women's basketball team in Israel. Kalin will be a member of the Ramat Hasharon team, which is located in Ramat Sasharon on Israel's central coastal strip in the south of the Sharon region.

"I am so excited to continue my playing career overseas," Kalin said. "It will be very meaningful to play professionally in Israel and I couldn't be more excited about the club I have signed with. I know it will be an incredible experience."

Kalin will be coached by Orna Austfeld next season for Ramat Hasharon after this summer where she will be a member of the U.S. Maccabiah All-Star team playing in the World Maccabiah Games.

For the University of Nortern Iowa, the Sioux City, Iowa native is a two-time Jackie Stiles Player of the Year and MVC Scholar-Athlete of the year winner. She led UNI and the MVC in scoring with 662 points during the 2012-13 season, averaging 19.5 per game. Kalin was named the MVC Player of the Week five times during the season, including after her career high 37 points against Missouri State on Feb. 10.

Last season, Kalin was named to the MVC All-Conference first team for the third time in her career. She is now the all-time leader at UNI in scoring (2,081), three-point field goals made (265), free throws made (484), free throw percentage (.920), assists (491), games started (136), games played (136) and minutes (4,352).

"I am so thankful for my time at UNI and all the people who have influenced my career and helped me gain this opportunity," Kalin said.
