USDA says farmers expected to bring in less corn this year

The cool, wet spring is not just impacting farmers in Siouxland.

Nationwide, the USDA says farmers are expected to bring in 135 million bushels less than they'd originally estimated.

In all farmers are expected to produce 14 billion bushels of corn this year.

This will still beat 2009's 13 point one bushel record.

Last year, with the drought, farmers only harvested about 11 billion bushels.
