Dancing detainees get movie deal


MANILA, Philippines - Dancing inmates in the Philippines who became an internet sensation have hit the big screen.

Videos featuring the inmates dancing have earned 40 million hits on youtube since 2007.

Now they're playing themselves in a movie about prison reform called "Dance of the Steel Bars."

The movie premiered in the Philippines earlier this week.

The co-directors shot for seven days at the detention facility with professional actors and about 750 inmates.
