New wave of televisions changing the market

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - As most of us are finally getting used to high definition television the new wave of technology is already hitting the market.

It's called 4-K.

It has a picture quality four times greater than our standard high def, it has over 8-million pixels and opposed to the 2-million plus you get with 1080.

The televisions also have the ability to scale any signal to 4k definition, so you always get an awesome picture.

One seller, Bob Pflanz of Pflanz Electronics, says once you see it in person you'll be amazed.

"I think the difference between 1080p and 4k is more and better than when we went from analog to HD, so it's really impressive, "said Vance Pflanz, owner of Pflanz Electronics.

And if your wondering, being on the cutting edge of technology comes at a price some of the cheapest models at Pflanz Electronics run for over five-thousand dollars.
