Plans to reconstruct a Plymouth County bridge are in motion

North of Remsen, the bridge over Willow Creek on 110th Street collapsed shortly after it was damaged by Memorial Day flooding.

The bridge has been surveyed, and engineers are working on the design for a new bridge.

Once the plans are completed, the county board will review them.

Plymouth County engineer, Tom Rohe, says it'll cost about $400,000, and it's high on the priority list since it's the only bridge so badly damaged in the county.

Engineers hope to have the plans done and ready for board approval by late August or early September.
