CENTRAL CITY (KWWL) -

The Linn County Fair has canceled all grandstand and grounds events after Wednesday due to projected flooding on the Wapsipinicon River.

The Fair Board BBQ, Queen Coronation and Opening Programming are still scheduled to take place Wednesday night. They have been moved from the grandstand to the Farm Bureau Free Entertainment Tent. The Barnyard Wars, which were scheduled for Wednesday night, have been canceled.

The fair plans to continue 4-H Livestock Shows at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. The 4-H Static Judging is still happening in the Morton Building on Wednesday. They will provide information when the static exhibits will be released later Wednesday.

The fair asks people not come onto the grounds after Wednesday night for safety reasons.

All vendors, campers, carnival and other grounds entertainment are being moved from lower grounds. All buildings that will be impacted by floodwaters have been cleared of essential items.

Any grandstand tickets can be exchanged at the 2014 fair for any grandstand event of equal or lesser value.
