ORANGE CITY, Iowa (KTIV) -

Orange City Firefighters were called to 508 Providence Avenue SE at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials say upon arrival the roof of the house and garage were engulfed in flames.

They say all members of the residence were safely out of the house when emergency personnel arrived on scene.

Firefighters from Alton were also called in to help put out the fire.

Officials say the fire was caused by spontaneous combustion from wood-stain soaked rages that were left in the garage.

The Orange City Police Department, Orange City Ambulance and the Sioux County Sheriff's deputies also assisted in helping with the fire.
